DinnerBliss publishes weeknight dinner recipes and meal planning. This policy sets out what visiting dinnerbliss.com involves in data terms, and what you can do about it.
Vendors and Partners
To publish at all we depend on third parties: hosting, analytics, email, and where applicable advertising. Each has its own privacy policy. Advertising and analytics vendors in particular act as independent controllers, so that policy — not this one — governs how they use what they collect.
Our Use of Your Data
We use what we hold to operate the site, to see in aggregate what home cooks planning the week find useful, to send subscribed email, and to enable advertising where it appears.
Children
DinnerBliss is not aimed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13, or under 16 where that is the applicable age. We do not knowingly gather information from children, and anything of that kind that reaches us is deleted.
What You Can Ask For
Rights available to you may include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. The GDPR covers UK and EU readers; the CCPA/CPRA and similar state statutes cover much of the US. We act on Global Privacy Control signals. See Do Not Sell or Share and the State Privacy Notice.
Subscribing and Unsubscribing
Newsletter subscriptions use double opt-in verification. Unsubscribe links appear in all email along with our postal address, removal is instant, and subscriber addresses are not rented, sold, or handed to third parties for their own marketing.

How Long We Keep It
Anything we hold has a limited life: it is kept while needed for the purpose it was collected for, then removed or allowed to expire. We use access controls and encryption in transit, and take reasonable steps overall, while being clear that no method of transmission or storage is entirely secure.
Information Received
Visiting dinnerbliss.com may generate ordinary technical information — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages opened. Anything you type in yourself, such as an email address for the newsletter or a name against a comment, is collected only because you chose to provide it.
Worth saying outright, since it is the question we get asked: dietary restrictions or allergies a reader mentions when writing to us are used to answer that message and are not stored against a profile or used for advertising.
